After a great summer with some beautiful weddings, I managed to spend a day shooting another genre I absolutely love during a weekend in Paris; street photography. Street and Travel Photography were my first major passions with a camera, and it’s been a while since I’ve been able to indulge myself. Paris, and Montmarte in particular, didn’t let me down.
Montmarte is an incredible place. A big hill in Paris’ 18th district with the beautiful Basilica of the Sacre-Ceour at it’s summit, it is perhaps most famous for the artists that used to hang around near the end of the 19th century; Monet, Van Gogh, Degas and Picasso to name a few.
Tourists, Artists and Wine Bars wherever you look, Montmarte made for a great day’s shooting.
Enjoy.
